On 23rd November Italian Beach Babes release the second 12″ from London based band Hounds of Hate. Head Anthem is a track swelled with regressive techniques, blurring the line between the modern and retro. Sloppy basslines meet wondering synth patterns creating a curiously mellow and distinctive sound. It seems to rest somewhere between J.Dilla style beats and the kind of record you hear off Warp right now; Rustie, Flying Lotus etc.
