I delved into the growing sac of demos that pile our immaterial desk today, only to find to my surprise, something absolutely outstanding. Forest Cry is a 22 year old artist from Helsinki composing some really interesting hypnotic and dream like music; a multiform of ethnic rhythms, vocal samples and drums loops. It’s makes for a curious combination and I certainly hear a lot of vibes of chillwave coming through as well as elements of dub and house too. Unsigned at the moment Forest Cry doesn’t even have any records out yet, but he’s getting enough love from numerous web sources , so hopefully we’ll be seeing a release soon.
