A tale from the other side. Emay imagines himself as a white supremacist shooting blind with his rifle in the sky, and generally feeling pissed off about immigrants. It’s an interesting song from the man whose star has never stopped rising, and is perhaps a precursor as to what we can expect from him next year. This year of course has been the making of the man, having released Emay, Karen O and the Kids (the soundtrack to Where the Wild Things Are), the single If You’re Breathing, and the stunning collaborations with Starslinger and Blackbird Blackbird that came in form of Seeing Suge recently. All of which bodes well for the nineteen year old Emay.
